Well the gamebird season is well under way and we filmed last weekend at Dianne Pritts property in Ouakune. Di has developed 40 ponds on her farm and it is just the perfect place for ducks.   I was shooting with the Beretta Urika which is very light and accurate. We got 10 mallards and 2 greys on a cold and windy morning, perfect conditions for ducks not so good for humans at -3 degrees.

Kens Camp Kicthen
Venison Crock Pot

Venison Back Leg
2 Onions
4 Tamarillo's
1 Can Italian Tomatoes
2 cup Red Wine
 Mushrooms
 Spiniach 
1/2 cup Cream

Sear venison in pan then place in crockpot 
Brown onions and add to crockpot
Add Tamarillo's Italian tomatoes and red wine
Slow cook for 5/6 hours
Pan fry mushrooms in small amount of butter add to crockpot with chopped spinich and cream.
Slow cook for another 15/30 minutes
Serve with crusty Herb Bread or on Mash.
